The Board of Austrian-based Evergreen Private Foundation has appointed Dr. Wolfgang Moser as Executive Director of the Foundation as of 26 September 2022. In this newly created position, he will act as a link between the Foundation and its subsidiaries, as well as the Foundation's external contact and spokesperson.

Dr. Wolfgang Moser has a technical education and a doctorate in business administration. He has more than 25 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods, automotive and health care sectors, including more than 15 years in leading C-level functions. Most recently, he was CFO of a private Austrian conglomerate for many years. There, he played a key role in the internationalisation and digitalisation, as well as the growth of the group.

The Evergreen Private Foundation has always invested in sustainability. Lately, at the end of April this year, Finnish sawmill company Luvia became part of HS Timber Group, the timber industry branch of the Evergreen Private Foundation. Moreover, HS Timber Group is now one of the global pioneers in terms of traceability and transparency in the timber supply chain. The Evergreen Private Foundation also supports innovative solutions at the interface between forestry and timber industry and digitalisation. Most recently, it invested in the Dutch tech start-up Timberhub, a B2B online marketplace for the distribution of timber products.
